About Mercy
When we made a last minute trip to Texas to pick up her sister Vera, I had never planned on bringing a second puppy home. But, Mercy had other plans. When her breeder announced the litter I thought about how much I would love to get a puppy from that breeding, but her list was beyond full. When she was born, I fell in love with her as soon as the first pictures were posted. I adore darkly marked dogs and she was a tricolor to top it off. As her breeder started stacking her, I thought for sure she would be gone so I stopped thinking of her. When I went to Texas to pick up Vera, I fell in love even more with what a sweet heart she was and she had also "clicked" with me, her drive had suddenly come out when she previously shown very, very little. Then, we started to talk about my bringing home two puppies instead of one. Mercy is a medium drive girl with a lovely off switch.
Mercy is the dog I never knew I needed; she is closer to my heart than I ever even knew possible. She has taught me more than I could have asked for when it comes to understanding dog behavior and figuring out what works best for one dog may not work best for another.
